Dont like the mess there is @ pick up and drop off, they should keep students inside the school grounds and not take them outside. There should me more teachers, guardians, etc outside to help at the pick up area, because there are too many students and little supervision, that you can see the little ones (K and 1st grade) running everywhere or looking for their parents). On a rainy day there was a huge mess, all the kids outside the gate, the teachers talking to other parents, I was waiting for my son for 5 min and couldnt see him, finally when I spoted him he was ready to go and look for me, without any teacher there to stop him, and he was in kinder. The communications with the teachers are not best, at least with the teacher my son had

Ramblewood is like a family. You feel it when you enter the office and then the attitude of everyone truly shows how much they care about their students. Thanks for all you do for our children!

Ramblewood Elementary is simply WONDEFUL!!! The teachers & staff are truly caring & dedicated. My daughter has attended since 2nd grade & my only problem is that we are sad she has to move up to 6th grade and will be leaving. :( Ramblewood is a hard act to follow- We will miss all of you. Thanks for all that you have done and continue to do. Ramblewood is the BEST!! :)

I have had two children attend in the last 10 years. The most recent student says 'you learn a lot but it's strict'. My oldest had a great learning experience and has gone on from there with a passion for learning. I find the teaching staff willing to communicate if the parent is involved. The administration is visible and active. There are constant improvements. The playground areas need to be expanded.

My child is attending this school.I'm very pleased with the Principal and all staff. She's very kind and willing to listen to parents. My child loved going to school except this year. The teacher is no quite what my child needs, but is doing good academically. Otherwise, my child is not very happy about going like other years. The teachers of SPECIALS as they call it are excellent,no question about it.Maybe need to be 'more demanding-incentive' in a way,for the kids to want to learn more(spanish,P.E.,music,etc)I know it's hard to listen to every parent and what they have to say,but they really try very hard!Parents are very involved, but should get more involved. The school needs parents to help out in every way.I think they could be a little more considerate when they prepare each class for the next year and ask to all teachers about each child's need.Al least my child would've liked school more.

I have 2 children at Ramblewood. One in 1st grade and one in 4th grade. I am very happy with the quality of education that they are provided with. The teachers and the principal are extremely competent and the curriculum is challenging. They also have a lot of activities and field trips through school and PTA. I agree that the playground can use improvement but that is a school district issue. It would be nice if more parents were involved. There are a lot of opportunities to help...even for working parents. All in all I am very happy with the school.

My 3 kids have attended Ramblewood Elementary for over 6 years. I only had good experiences with all the teachers in all grades. It gave my older daughter a great foundation for middle school and she is doing great. My son is a gifted child and the teachers have been very accomodating to keep him challenged and motivated. Whenever there is a problem, I am notified immediately. The front office staff is the best. The principal is practical and available. Yes, I would like to see a better playground for kindergarteners. From what I can see, lots of parents are volunteers. The PTA is active and having a nurse available at the school is a major plus. It is impressive to see how the school runs so well with so much diversity. When I sell homes in the area, Ramblewood Elementary is one of my major selling points.

My children have been attending Ramblewood for 5 years and I find this school to be exemplary in quality of education, specials (Spanish, computer lab, music..etc) student programs, parent communication and activities. Ramblewood earned the Governors Sterling award in 2006, the only public school to achieve this high honor and has received the 5 star and A+ school awards for 5 consecutive years. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who values GREAT education at the elementary school level.

Ramblewood Elementary School has a very dedicated staff. However, the playground provided for our children need much improvement. It is not only an eye-sore but lacks play sets by far. Recess should be fun time for them. Trees have improved the appearance but these kids need playground that they can all play on. Our kids need not only mental but physical stimuli. Principal is caring and has great leadership qualities. She is 'hands on' kind of person. I love that! The staff at the front office is a pleasure to deal with. Just a thought or two from a concerned first grade parent.

My daughter has attended this school for 1 yr. We moved here from North Eastern States. We are overall satisfied with this school. However, we feel that they need to continue to raise the bar for excellence. Play ground for K-2 grades needs improvement. We will work with PTA to improve. We have a very good 1st grade teacher.

Ramblewood Elementary is a wonderful school with a very dedicated staff. We have a terrific community of parents who willingly donate many hours to volunteer in classrooms and assist with a variety of school projects. I am proud to be part of such an outstanding school!

Ramblewood Elementary School is a wonderful school. Both of my children attended since Kindergarten. The teachers are warm and caring, and they meet the needs of the individual students. The principal takes an active role in the day to day activities of the school. She is visable and is a very caring role model for our children. This school is a pleasure to be a parent at, as well as a teacher.

My 21 yr old daughter went through Ramblewood Elem, and the middle and high school. I now have a 9 yr old son in Ramblewood. His teachers have all been great, having the students' education and well-being top priority. My son has had some problems and all the teachers and administration have been extremely concerned and helpful through this. Being a teacher/school administrator is hard enough, but with all of the diverse nationalities and foreign languages they have to deal with makes it harder. I have nothing but the highest respect for the entire school.

I believe that the work these kids are doing in this school is way off of there levels, no matter how you divide the grades the work in this school is middle school work and impossible for a kid to learn it no matter how much teaching you do, some kids just dont understand I know me as a parent, have trouble with my childs 3rd grade work and thats sad, I have a law degree, and an accounting degree and what they give these kids is just amazing. I think this school is to demanding on trying to pump to much into a childs head. And I know my child is stressing and is very unhappy with himself.

I have been happy with most teachers, but there are a few who need some guidence. My daughters first grade teacher had her help mainly spanish speaking kids, when she needed help and did not prepare her for the FCAT. Her fourth grade teacher makes harsh comments to the kids if they are late or miss any days regardless of the medical reason. She also has them do there homework and does not check it making us think, why should it even be done. There is a point system at lunch, if they talk in line or don't clean up there table or talk to loudly the lunch table they loss their recess. And the bathrooms are very dirty.

My son and daughter did and are doing fabulous! My son is excelling in eighth grade as a result of his fine start at this school. My daughter is also doing a fabulous job and is on the honor roll! The teachers there work really hard to help the children succeed!

As a parent of a kindergartener, I was thrilled to see the teacher took time on the first day of school to call me at work and let me know how my son was doing. She has been nothing short of a fabulous teacher all year long.

The teachers are eager for parent involvment which is commendable on their part. I do believe there should be a program in place geared for advanced students.
