Other names being considered for the new city included Curran's Village, Pompano Springs and Quartermore. Coral Springs Main Street, which leads from the central location on the east side of the city to the west side, is located at the intersection of West Palm Beach Boulevard and South Florida Avenue. In addition to the main road and main parking, Coral Springs also borders Miami-Dade and Broward counties and the state of Florida. The Coral Spring Covered Bridge was also the first construction to be built in the cities in 1964, costing $1 million.
